Die aktualisierte Übersicht der IARC zu Nachtarbeit und Krebs in The Lancet Oncology ist nun erschienen und kann heruntergeladen werden:

    https://publications.iarc.fr/593

    Abstract:

This volume of the IARC Monographs provides an evaluation of the carcinogenicity of night shift work, that is, work occurring during the regular sleeping hours of the general population. Globally, an estimated one out of five workers is engaged in regular night shift work, with percentages increasing over time in some countries. Night shift work is most common in the following industry sectors: transportation (for example, aircrew and truck drivers on long-haul trips), health care, manufacturing, and services (for example, social assistance, accommodation and food services, information and communications, travel and tourism).

An IARC Monographs Working Group reviewed studies of cancer in people exposed to night shift work (including transmeridian air travel), studies of cancer in experimental animals exposed to shifts in the light‑dark schedule, and mechanistic evidence in both exposed humans and experimental systems. The review of the present Working Group was the first to be guided by the amended Preamble to the IARC Monographs, which was substantially updated in 2019.

ICOH Heritage Repository of all Congress proceedings is online

    Dear ICOH member,

We are pleased to inform you that, as a result of a two-year project, the ICOH Heritage Repository has been released and presented at the ICOH Mid-term meeting in Rome on February 11-13, 2020.

The Repository is a large digital archive created to preserve and share a precious heritage in the field of international occupational health, that is also relevant from the historiographical point of view. It consists of all the congress proceedings of the 32 ICOH Congresses, starting from ICOH foundation in 1906 to the present time. The Repository includes more than 20,000 scientific papers available for download in Acrobat Reader format and more than 50,000 authors listed. Therefore, the Repository represents the most complete collection of scientific contributions in Occupational Medicine available today.

The Repository is publicly available and can be accessed from a dedicated box in the homepage of the ICOH website or via the following link: http://repository.icohweb.org/.
